Fries
The series "Fries" was born during a workshop done with the street photographer Wofgang Zurborn, based on the concept of "spaces in between". The idea behind it resonated with me, because I found it perfect for expressing certain moods and it was a new way for me to discover street photography, by abandoning the narrative horizontal frame and embracing the destructuring capabilities of the vertical format. While creating a new space for my photographic subjects, I decided to use the fries as a symbol of the consumer world, in which everything and everyone becomes a commodity: the most important attribute is its price, which should be as low as possible.
